<p dir="auto">for some time now, there has been in-use documentation
in the wiki for a road marking schema for mapping road markings
(stop lines, lane dividers, turn lanes, restricted areas etc.) as
separate features. Initially only used by a single mapper, the use
of the schema is continuously increasing. However, the documented
values do not follow any clear structure, but more an open-ended
approach, making it difficult to use and consume.</p>
<p dir="auto">The aim of the road marking revision proposal is
therefore to reorganize the road markings schema by introducing
clean, easier to use categories, making it more applicable to
mappers and data consumers:</p>
