<div>ganz so sehe ich das nicht, dass Googles gutes Abschneiden nur auf einem Zufall beruhen kann - das ist nach meiner Erfahrung eine deutlich zu wenig differenzierte Aussage . Ich bin zwar absoluter OSM-Verfechter, aber in Bezug auf einfache Nutzbarkeit (gerade auch am Smartphone) bietet Google Dienste, mit denen viele Dienste, die OSM-Daten nutzen (noch) bei weitem nicht mithalten können.</div>
<div>Im Allgemeinen hatte ich über die Routenführung von Google nicht viel zu klagen, wobei ich es meist eher zu Testzwecken mitlaufen lasse, und bei echtem Bedarf eher ein professionelles Navi benutze. Für die getestete Vorab-Routenberechnung verwende ich es jedoch ernsthaft und regelmässig, und auch hier habe ich keine Klagen.</div>

<div>Dass unsere OSM Karten in vielen Bereichen deutlich detaillierter, korrekter, offener und was weiss ich noch alles sind, tut dabei nichts zur Sache, ein Tool basierend auf OSM-Daten, das die selben Möglichkeiten bietet wäre mir selbstverständlich wesentlich lieber.</div>

<div>Wie ORS in diesem Test abgeschnitten hätte? Ich denke, einige Kriterien hätte es recht gut gemeistert, aber von übersichtlichem Ausdruck, Zusatzangaben wie Spritverbrauch kann nicht die Rede sein.</div>
<div>Und wenn ein Teil der ORS-Routenbeschreibung so aussieht wie unten, kann es für einen Spitzenplatz bei einem Durchschnitts-Konsumenten-Test nicht mehr reichen, auch wenn es tolle Zusatzmöglichkeiten wie GPX-Download gibt, die der Durchschnitts-Konsument eher nicht nutzt.</div>

<div>Um nicht falsch verstanden zu werden: Ich bin starker OSM-Verfechter, aber ich vergleiche intensiv auch mit anderen Möglichkeiten, vor allem im Bereich Navigation. Auf OSMDaten basierende Lösungen haben meist klare Vorteile wenn es um vielfältiste und anpassbare Lösungen geht oder auch im gesamten Bereich abseits der KFZ-Navigation</div>

<div>Aber: viele der Anwendungen / Dienste sind in Bezug auf Anwenderfreundlichkeit (noch) nicht auf dem letzten Stand, häufig benötigt es für die Nutzung jedoch ein starkes Einarbeiten in Technik und die spezielle Software. Und das gilt auch für ORS: Bei Google kann ich einfachstens Zwischenziele einfügen, Reihenfolgen von Wegpunkten anpassen, die Route an beliebigen Punkten mit der Maus anfassen und auf andere Wege ziehen und so einfachst Wunschrouten für verschiedene Zwecke erstellen.</div>

<div>Ich finde es daher schade, andere Ansätze abzulehnen, ein gutes Abschneiden in einem Test als reinen Zufall zu betiteln - ich bin sicher, dass es hier noch viele Inspirationen für die mögliche Nutzung unserer tollen OSM-Daten geben kann.</div>

<div>Nochmals zurück zu ORS:</div>
<div>Solange die Routenbeschreibung von Sennwald (Schweiz) nach Bellinzona (Schweiz) Autobahnkreuze wie Sargans oder bei Bellinzona nicht für erwähnenswert hält, ab Thusis jedoch bei durchgängiger Schnellstrasse (ohne Abzweigungen) aber alle paar hundert Meter darauf aufmerksam macht, dass die Schnellstrasse halb links oder halb rechts weiter geht (Beispiel ganz an Ende) finde ich das nicht praktikabel.</div>

<div>Es ist zwar auch das ein Einzelbeispiel, aber nicht ein speziell in Bezug auf mögliche Fehler ausgesuchtes und nicht die zweite Alternative, sondern mein erster Test, bei dem es um eine der Hauptrouten von Vorarlberg in den Süden geht und es ist die einzige Variante - die unsinnigen/fehlenden Meldungen betreffen hier eine Autobahn/Schnellstrasse.</div>
