<div>"190 200 sign, consistent with ?distance marker signs seen elsewhere at<br>side of road"</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Near some bridges on the Princes Highway I've also seen orange stakes with what appear to be distance markers (from a common datum point). Also on the Kings Highway there are yellow stakes that are distance markers for property addressess.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>There seem to be many standards in use for multiple things. Probably the local councils are in the process of trying to standardise rural addressing.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I've started tagging the N.S.W bridges numbers, using the bridge_number tag. Soonish I will start adding bridge relations (in accordance with James LIvingston's post on the matter) and when all software, renderers, search engines etc recognise the relations, I will remove the bridge_number tags that I have added.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>PS - I've managed to convert ACT grid co-ordinates to WSG84 geographic co-ordinates which now helps me in my survey of all the A.C.T bridges.</div>
<div>Next week I'll be able to help the ACT Govt improve their bridge list a little bit. </div>
