Hi again

I've been mapping around the West Pymble area and noticed that the
postcode was wrong. Not only that, but the suburb was wrong as well.
Looking around some of the streets south of Yanko Rd, they were
associated with Macquarie Park which is the south side of Lane Cove
River! In short, there are serious and obvious errors (for a local).

First things first, what is acceptable as an authoritative source
for postcodes? When I say authoritative, I mean absolute,
unquestionable and with uncontestable proof.

For example, for street names, I have pictures of the street signs
which prove conclusively the name of the streets. Check my traces.
(The street signs do NOT have suburbs associated with them).

I can speak authoritatively about the postcode for my own address.
But, ignoring Auspost as a potential source, it would seem
the only way to identify postcodes/suburbs would be to ask each
individual house.

Can anyone provide me with some guidance?

Thanks
Darren
