    <p>I went for a cycle along SW8 this afternoon, and I now think that
      at least that route (and the others if they're similar) should be
      kept in OSM. It's not signposted wonderfully, and there are a few
      places where following the signs wasn't possible, but there were
      definitely quite a lot of signs — including some new ones that
      have been put up since recent roadworks in various places.</p>
    <p>The state Department of Transport still publish the <a
        moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://www.transport.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/active-transport/at_CYC_map_PerthFremantle-Stirling.pdf">bike
        maps</a> (although I can't find an index to them on their site;
      they're discoverable <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://www.transport.wa.gov.au/public/SearchTransport.asp?&q=bike%20map&start=0">with
        a search</a> though).<br>

        I am from Perth, and am a cyclist.  I agree with aaronsta that
        these routes

        are pretty useless.  I have often looked at the signage and
        wondered about

        OSM & the usefulness of the routes.  I might not have gone
        to the extent of

        deleting them, but it is probably the right thing to do (they
        are
        <br>
        pretty-much obsolete and I doubt if anyone uses them)
