<p>For those that aren't aware, there is currently a big push to move discussions from the mailing list/old forum onto the new community site. https://community.openstreetmap.org/</p>
<p>As part of the new site, we have the ability to request a new category or subcategory to be created specifically for Oceania. (<a href="https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/about-the-new-category-requests-category/1001">https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/about-the-new-category-requests-category/1001</a>)</p>
<p>Is this something that would be useful? Would people use the category, or would it be left to the wayside like the previous Australia category on the forum?</p>
