Hi all, I know I am getting close to suggesting tagging for the
renderer but I am inclined to keep similar lifecycle tags for
those cases where the land manager requests that the track not be
rendered and the land manager is working actively to maintain a
state of abandoned:
<br>
<br>
Consider the case of a vehicle track which is impassible to
vehicles but traffic-able to walkers. It could be tagged
<br>
<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="abandoned:highway=track">abandoned:highway=track</a> or
<br>
highway=path
<br>
</blockquote>
<u><br>
</u>Think you mean, at least this is what I'd be using <br>
<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="abandoned:highway=track">abandoned:highway=track</a> and<br>
highway=path<br>
<br>
<blockquote type="cite"

<br>
If there are lots of <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="abandoned:highway">abandoned:highway</a> which are traffic-able by
walkers and not access=no, it is just incentive for renderers to
render abandoned:
<br>

<br>
Most would take the major tag of highway=track and ignore <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="was:*">was:*</a> or
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="abandoned:*">abandoned:*</a>. Only if the 'lessor' tag of <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="abandoned:*">abandoned:*</a> (or <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="disused:*">disused:*</a>
etc) existed by itself would someone consider rendering it. <br>
