For the distinction between the amount of lanes on each side of the

The forward and backward keywords are also used for other elements.<br>

It seems consistent to use this to define the name of each side of

name:forward=Ieperleestraat<br>
name:backward=Neerstraat<br>

Very good point, they are different situations. <br>

Anyone else any suggestions? <br>

very weird case).<br>

But I guess you also want a way to note which way is in which
city/village.<br>

Maybe mapping the complete street (including all houses with a
complete set of address tags) is the only solution to achieve
this. <br>

this. Since the road, at least mine in Ypres,
is a road with just one lane, where you can go
where you want. It would be the same like
splitting buildings because there are more
than one shop in it, instead of using POI to
note the shops in the building. Splitting ways
will cause weird rendering problems and
routing problems. What we need is a tagging
schema to allow double names. Maybe something

<br>
I'm not sure how to
handle this, maybe it
is somewhere on the

I have this street
(one of many):<br>
<br>
<a
moz-do-not-send="true"

On one side the
addresses use the
streetname <b>lessensestraat
</b>and the other side
<b>rekestraat </b>depending
on the commune they
are in, Brakel or
Geraardsbergen.<br>
<br>
Are there any specific
tags for this? Is
using <a

wikipagina die het
label name

lessensestraat-rekestraat
ok? I guess not?<br>

Best Regards,<br>
