your area. Like in my region, it's WestTour (<a href="http://www.westtoer.be" target="_blank">http://www.westtoer.be</a>).<br>

Obviously, what seems obvious to you isn't to everybody, including
several maps I have seen.<br>
In consequence, I have added the following phrase to <a href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Belgium/Conventions" target="_blank">Conventions</a>
Hiking & Biking.<br>

As, in addition, the so-called tourism do not reply to e-mails, this
is one more business I quit.<br>

<br></div></blockquote><div>Given that I wrote an email to a tourism agency and got permission to include their network of routes in OSM, proves that this is not the case.<br><br>More or less 1 year ago I was also approached by Toerisme Vlaanderen, as they wanted to share the data about hotels, campings, musea. With the license change of OSM and some stuff that they were changing on their side (deeplinks to their website), I put that on hold. I contacted them again last week, so I expect an answer on that somewhere during the month of January. That will add quite a few adresses and interesting POIs.<br>
<br>The touristic services of the Flemish provinces (this is a different beast than Toerisme Vlaanderen) are not ready to give us permission to add the cycle and walking node networks to OSM. But they are also not forcing us to remove them. What they don't like is that people (and companies) would become able to start printing the same kind of guides that they offer in the tourist information points. So they usually attach a license to it with that restriction.<br>
<br>What they don't (seem to want to) understand is that it would be very hard to compete with them, both on price and given the distribution network. So even if Openstreetmap would enable people to do this, there is hardly any incentive.<br>
