<div dir="ltr">I know that a mailing list in either Dutch or French (or German) is not a solution. But by starting with a message in English, one also immediately excludes all people that speak only French or Dutch or German.<div style>

A solution is that we would all be fluent in French, Dutch and German and do not have to rely on another language. But that's unlikely.</div><div style><br></div><div style>As you wrote, it's difficult to solve, as I think that using English is not meeting half-way for all people. </div>

    But if we all start talking dutch or french we'll miss out on the
    other half of Belgium, I think it's only fair to meet halfway. 
    Personally, I'm a favourite of using all three languages on this
    list, and whoever responds does that in the language he chooses.  I
    have no problem with that, after all, it's only a reflection of what
    Belgium is.<br>
