I don’t really see your point here.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">However, before talking about relation, I think a specific value should be introduced for the <u class="">highway key</u> : “cyclehighway" for instance. This would help the renderer to show those infrastructures differently than the usual “cycleway” (the infamous "piste cyclable” that usually sounds like an insult for most serious bikers).</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">This is however something that has to be discussed on a higher level than Belgium. Where is this place ?</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Matthieu</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">On 24 Jan 2016, at 17:36, Jo <<a href="mailto:winfixit@gmail.com" class="">winfixit@gmail.com</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div class=""><div dir="ltr" class=""><div class="">Between Leuven and Brussels they are marked in a way that is verifiable on the ground.<br class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">We need a separate 'network' tag for them though, and it would be nice to see they get rendered on the specialised bicycle maps.<br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div>Jo<br class=""></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br class=""><div class="gmail_quote">2016-01-24 15:31 GMT+01:00 Sander Deryckere <span dir="ltr" class=""><<a href="mailto:sanderd17@gmail.com" target="_blank" class="">sanderd17@gmail.com</a>></span>:<br class=""><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr" class=""><div class=""><div class=""><div class=""><div class="">Bicycle highways are more like bicycle routes than different highway types.<br class=""><br class=""></div>They are a route specifically made for commuting, connecting residential area with some work center in a rather straight line.<br class=""><br class=""></div>As such, I think those could get tagged as a cycle route with some specific sub tags (like a special network).<br class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The question is though: are they verifiable on the ground.
