Many POI are mapped, but some things are not and then you have to rely
on a given address.
Housenumbers are of the most importance for long streets (300m +),
where arriving at the wrong end or side of the road, sometimes
partially one way, can make you make a detour of several blocks and a
time loss of up to an half hour or more in rush hour.
I don't use addresses a lot myself
- navigation for my walks: no addresses needed
- navigation to get to a walk: a street + nearby parking is enough
- navigation to a POI, you could search by name
only in case I need to get to someone's house I need a house number.
