Hello.<br>
(sorry for mixing up local time zones)<br>
<br>
thanks for all answers.<br>
<br>
Allright, I understand that this topic is different in Brazil.<br>
There are more living_streets than in Germay.<br>
<br>
Now I've an example:<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://abload.de/image.php?img=livingstreet_or_residowp1g.png">http://abload.de/image.php?img=livingstreet_or_residowp1g.png</a><br>
<br>
On the bottom right area of this screenshot, there is Avenida Maria
Moreira Lisboa (Itanhém).<br>
When copying the scale from Bing's aerial image, I think the street
is wider than 6 metres.<br>
Do you agree?<br>
<br>
regards,<br>
Andreas<br>

<div>Good afternoon,<br>

There is no official classification for living_street in
Brazil, so we use for narrow streets (less than 6m) where
there is no clear separation between pedestrians and car
traffic in residential areas, such as streets in favelas
(slums).<br>

evening,<br>

while mapping in Itanhém (Bahia), I found all streets in the
city,<br>
except the main state street BA-290, tagged as
living_street.<br>
Those streets that were missing and I added today, have been
tagged as<br>
residental by me, resulting in a city with mixed sort of
streets now:<br>

<br>
That's unusual for me and I want to ask, which is the usual
way to tag<br>
city streets in Brazil?<br>
<br>
Here in Germany, a living_street means:<br>
* right of way for pedestrians, who may walk or play on the
entire street<br>
* maximum speed 7 km/h<br>
* no parking except dedicated signs allow parking<br>
<br>
Most city streets (90-95%) in Europe are residental rather
than<br>
living_street.<br>
How is it in Brazil?<br>
<br>
kind regards<br>
