Hi Richard, cc: talk-ca
In case your interested (or maybe already started, created rules.txt, created .osm files & sample areas) :-)

I made up the page and wrote about whats going on.
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Land_Information_Ontario

Any help in wikifying and translating it into english would be helpful.

Thanks,
Sam

& Hi talk-ca list,

I figure that since now i'm no longer the 'Script maintainer/conversion manager' for the Canvec data / geobase NHN data. I can now go in there and tackle this dataset of 40 features and see what i can make of it. ... fortunatly, it wont take as long :) .. and fortunately, there's ALOT of data thats already (just about) available to be imported to OSM

This time, i'll be using the GoogleDocs chart directly (as i go along ie. rules derived directly from the chart), so others can jump in there and make corrections as they see fit :) .. if anyone wants access, just ask. It'll be another tab on the canvec map features chart (i just renamed the file), so alot of you already have access to it :)
