Is there a need for a file server for the files used to import GeoBase and Canvec data into OSM?  I am in the position to be able to dedicate several GB for the complete storage needs for the import through Think|Haus, Hamilton's Hacker space.<br>
<br>The space will allow for anonymous downloads and for a select number of people to have upload privilages to the account.  I am lokking at using it as an ftp server which should satisfy the needs of the Canadian mapping comunity.<br>
<br>If this would suit the needs of the community then it will be set up as <a href="ftp://openstreetmap.thinkhaus.org">ftp://openstreetmap.thinkhaus.org</a>, whichis currently not yet available, for anyone to be able to download files and for a select number of people to upload files to.  Please indicate if the community would like this service.<br>
