Sam, you didn't really answer the question. In what way is OSM not complete? As an example, I downloaded the three ways that start at <a href="http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=49.07513&mlon=-116.14094&zoom=17" target="_blank">http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=49.07513&mlon=-116.14094&zoom=17</a> (the last of the error messages) and all of them have correct connections at both ends of the ways. They don't appear to be out of alignment. It would be easier to fix them by Christmas if we actually knew what was wrong, and how to fix it.<br>

Its because OSM is not yet complete.   I guess that  by christmas,<br>
alot of the errors will be picked up.   There are a few places where<br>
the roads dont align, and so, using the CanVec data, it will get fixed<br>
manually.   I know that in Nanaimo, there are a few errors.   So i do<br>
intend on fixing it :)<br>

But the majority of the province routes fine with this conversion.<br>

I have now uploaded the resulting IMG files for the Province of BC<br>

When i convert the rest of the countries province .osm files (from<br>
Cloudmade extract)  I'll include the IMG tiles that i created.<br>

For Contour maps,  Garmin MapSource has a hard time mixing Contours &<br>
the routable map.<br>
But it's fine to add the contour only tiles to it.   I am currently<br>
making a GroundTruth Planet Contour IMG file set at 10m, so it will be<br>
able to download.   Hopefully the BC province mapset will be able in<br>
the next month or so :)<br>
