I know a lot of work has gone into training guides recently, trying to make them simpler and more relevant.<br><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif;font-size:small">Note to Richard if you have a lot of newcomers the difficulty is they want to get started right away, and experienced OSM mappers don't always read the project instructions to see what the HOT conventions are. Highways for example tend to use a subset of the OSM possibilities.
