I agree. Typical Ontarian exit "names" like “Yonge Street exit”, “Highway 401 exit”, “QEW exit to Hamilton” are not real names but descriptions composed of the signed destination plus exit. That way, the only thing that should be tagged on the exit node is the exit number, and the destination posted on the green or blue signs get tagged as destination=* and all its extensions on the ramp. There would be exits with real names (usually interchanges between two highways), but the name are often ceremonial and is little used. I'm from Alberta, where highway exits are generally referred to by their signposted exit number, but do Ontarians also use them or only use “(destination) exit”? What is the Québécois usage again?

Going back again, this "practice" was started last 2017 or 2018 by BlueJaysFan86 and other users just started following that (so why they reverted my edits on several areas). It might be worthy clarifying in the wiki for Canadian tagging guidelines that colloquial references like "[destination] exit"/"sortie [de] (destination)" are not names but descriptions, so to help discourage that practice. May be, but to go back to my example, no one calls it the "Kipling
Avenue Islington Avenue Park Lawn Road exit", and any reasonable
"name" you could create for that exit would in fact be a description
("Kipling collectors exit" or something)
