<div><div dir="ltr">I earlier mentioned boundary=protected_area + protect_class=24 as an historic artifact, and that I had some minor history in "easing into a transition" that these be "better" tagged boundary=aboriginal_lands. [1]<br clear="none"><br clear="none">To be clear: I (and I believe many others) prefer that these be tagged with boundary=aboriginal_lands (not using the protect_class key).<br clear="none"><br clear="none">As for the other keys / tags that might be used, I am certain the Canada community in OSM can come to reasonable guidelines on best practices on how to do this.
