<div dir="ltr">Hello Arthur,<div><br></div><div>Out here in the prairie hinterlands we call such a thing a "windrow", "windbreak" or "shelterbelt". It's a row of trees planted for the purpose of slowing the wind speed on the leeward side, helping to prevent soil erosion and damage to crops, or just to make it a little less gusty and more pleasant around a farmhouse. :)</div><div><br></div><div>Per Martin's suggestion I would simply tag it as natural=tree_row. That said, I would not tag it with denotation=border_farm, because its purpose is not to denote the border of the farm. That it is *at* the edge of the farm is incidental.</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Dec 8, 2022 at 12:03 PM Gron Arthur <<a href="mailto:gron.arthur@gmail.com">gron.arthur@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>What is the thin strip of green/treed area called between two farm fields? <br></div><div><a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1120402824#map=17/43.85471/-79.14757" target="_blank">https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1120402824#map=17/43.85471/-79.14757</a></div></div>
