<div style="">Participation in the event is free of charge.</div></div></blockquote></div><br><div>I would prefer to have have small symbolic registration fee (maybe 10€) just to reduce number of no-shows. Anyway there would be direct costs involved, and we cannot be 100% sure about </div><div><br></div><div>About question Tallinn vs Tartu, then for me personally Tartu would be more convenient, quite probable to get free venue etc. It has GIS companies and university. However, for the global SOTM idea <a href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/State_Of_The_Map_2011/Bid/Tallinn">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/State_Of_The_Map_2011/Bid/Tallinn</a> I choose Tallinn as it is more interesting for international crowd, more accomodation, airport, ferry terminals are close etc. </div><div><br></div><div>But for a smaller regional event Tartu would be just fine and actually much cosier. Even geographically maybe even better, considering that most people come from east or south by car/bus. 20 years ago there was ferry service from Pskov to Tartu, maybe someone can charter a boat from there :) We could organize nice sideevents like walk to a huge bogs nearby, trip with old-style river boat (with a cinema inside). And Tallinn is only 2 hours bus/train trip away.</div><div><br></div><div>Jaak</div></body></html>
