Non pas que je sois pour un passage d'une mise-à-jour massive (loin de là) mais<br>
j'ai l'impression qu'on a tous un peu notre définition des tags (le fait que ça<br>
soit en anglais n'arrange pas les choses...)<br>
Quelle différence y-a-t'il entre un "highway=footway" et un<br>
"highway=path+foot=designated" (ou même foot=yes seul) ?<br>
Sans parler des "highway=pedestrian" ;-)<br>

<br> <br>Je suis d'accord que la difference est assez mince (sauf pour pedestrian qui est assez clair). La faute à ceux qui ont introduit le tag "designated" pour remplacer footway mais qui n'y sont pas arrivé. Le compromis final est assez bancal.<br>

> desserte des habitations, pas du "transit".<br></div></blockquote><div><br>Il ne faut parfois pas trop se torturer l'esprit. Lorsque tu arrives dans une rue, pose-toi la question "est-ce que c'est résidentiel ?". S'il n'y a que des maisons, facile, c'est oui et tu mets residential. S'il y a un troquet/bar/tabac au coin de la rue, c'est encore facile. Si la rue est plombée de commerces ou d'usines, bureaux, cimetières, hopitaux, bref si tu n'est plus en quartier résidentiel mais en limite ou en dehors, alors c'est non et tu mets unclassified. Si c'est une vraie voie de transit, alors on passe aux catégories supérieures.<br>

C'est pas simple, mais si on veut s'harmoniser on aurait peut-être intérêt à<br>
mettre dans le wiki plus de détails, d'exemples, que ça soit plus clair et moins<br>
sujet à interprétation.<br>
