[Talk-gb-midanglia] High volume changes round Cambridge

A previously unknown used 'ratarsed' has made changes to nearly every
road around Cambridge (nearly 600 edits yesterday) and looks like
working in towards the middle. I think what he's doing is tweaking
everything with the Yahoo images (which don't go in to the highest zoom).
I think this blind, bulk editing is likely to disturb ground survey data
and break things. It may, in some cases, improve accuracy, but because
you can't zoom in enough on the Yahoo data (in Potlatch at least), I am
not convinced. At the least, it seems an unnecessary waste of time and
almost certainly will result in introducing some errors because you
can't see the detail well enough on the satellite.
I'd like to revert all these edits. What do you think?
I've sent a message to him to confirm that's what he's doing.
David
