These are all really easy mistakes to make - I know, I've made them...

The work is clearly well meant so please lets be encouraging and
educational.

I would personally never have even thought of scanning an NPE and uploading
as GPS. Until someone mentioned that horrible idea, I'd been taking GPS at
face value as a trace from a GPS unit - and giving that precedence over
NPE/Yahoo/Landsat.
