I've been trying to map all restaurants, cafes and takeaways, as it
was a more manageable small project than mapping all shops. Also
noting restaurants and cafes are now rendered in both styles. So far
I think I've mapped all eateries except those north of the Round
Church.
In case anyone's thinking of surveying the shops on Mill Road, I did
this one afternoon (since it's an iconic street of independent shops,
booo to Tesco, and all that). The only data I've inputted so far are
the eating establishments, but the rest are on a piece of paper on my
desk.
I'm following the discussion on mapping houses. I guess with mapping
shops, there's more need for vigilance to keep up to date with
openings and closures.
