<p class="MsoNormal">First of all a big thank you for contributing to the map of
Birmingham and environs – we completed the metropolis at Christmas 2008. A
small group of dedicated mappers meet monthly at the Queens Arms pub in Newhall
Street Birmingham (yes it is mapped!). What we’d like to do is for as many
people as possible who have contributed to come to our April meeting on
Thursday April 2^nd from 7pm onwards. As a thank you we’re trying to
print the map onto something like a mug or a T-shirt (or perhaps just a paper
copy) as a souvenir of your pioneering effort.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">(You can of course always turn up to our March meeting on
Thursday March 5^th!)</p>

you might like to contribute to one or some of the mini-projects we have
created for 2009 – the largest is to attempt<span style=""> 
</span>completion of the Black Country!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Now we’ve got<span style="">  </span>a map
we need lots of community involvement to keep it updated so any efforts you can
make to promote OSM in however small a way will help.</p>
