<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div>Hi All,<br><br></div>I thought I'd have a go at creating an app! As I wasn't able to make it over to Birmingham on Thursday I used the time to get Version 1 up and running.<br>
<br></div><div>It's very basic (showing OSM notes when given a set of coordinates and radius) but it has all the components that you would need to build a more complex app:<br><br></div><div>* Gets your location from your smartphone/tablet.<br>
</div><div>* Conversion of lat/lon with radius to a Bounding Box (BBOX).<br></div><div>* Queries the OSM API to retrieve the list of notes and comments.<br></div><div>* Links everything together.<br><br></div><div>In terms of use, it's not great at the moment. The next stage would be to also show where the note is (either a map, or a distance with direction compass type thing). After that I'll look at linking in other databases so that it can show OSM Notes plus other things we like.<br>
