An unsurfaced road should simply be a road with the surface tag set:<br><br>highway=secondary<br>surface=unpaved<br><br>That's not to say some non-Map Features tags are being supported. If so, I've never heard of either of them and suggest not using them. "Byway" is probably for UK as it has a specific legal meaning there.
