The other day I stumbled upon an unmapped bus stop which I've added to the<br>
map: <a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9126413017" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9126413017</a><br>

I am trying to find more details about the stop but it doesn't seem to be<br>
listed on TFL, is it possible it's no longer in use?<br>
<br>
I took a photo of the stop and there is nothing saying it is closed though<br>
the stop does say: buses do not pick up passengers here<br>

Are you sure that it is actually a stop and not a stand <br>

latter that I can find in the OSM wiki is a passing one about excluding <br>
them from routes <br>
<<a href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Bus_routes_in_London" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Bus_routes_in_London</a>>.  They really <br>
need to positively identified, as they need to be mapped, if only to <br>
stop people mapping them as stops.<br>

Yes, it sounds likely that it's a stand.<br>
<br>
It doesn't appear in NaPTAN which is a relatively authoritative source<br>
for bus stops.<br>

I've been in contact with him and I think he was just confused.<br>

I think he had the notes layer turned on and thought that the green<br>
tick meant something was a published listing so was resolving things<br>
in order to "publish" them.<br>
