    Hi,<br>
    <p>In looking for information on BS7666, the Association for
      Geographic Information appeared. They have guidelines for creation
      of gazetteers which also suggest that BS7666 leans towards
      geographic addresses rather than postal addresses (street
      reference, locality name, town name).<br>

    The AGI has a lovely comment on modelling street naming and
    modelling (Guidelines Section 1, Page 10, 4.6):
    <blockquote><font size="2"><i><span class="markedContent"

              transform: scaleX(0.795128);" role="presentation"
              dir="ltr">"Complex gazetteer structures and records are
              not a sensible way of solving real-world</span> <span

              font-family: sans-serif; transform: scaleX(0.788289);"
              role="presentation" dir="ltr">addressing problems."</span></span></i></font></blockquote>
    <p>Amen!</p>
