    <p>IMHO still -far- too complicated.</p>
    <p>addr:substreet is not necessary simply always use addr:street for
      the street the house number is relative is too, or addr:place if
      the house number is relative to a non-street.</p>
    <p>If there is a further level of (non-conventional) localisation
      required use</p>
    <p>addr:parentXXXXXX (just one value, but neutral if it refers to a
      street or place).</p>
    <p>addr:hamlet, addr:village: addr:town and addr:suburb all seem to
      be the same thing in the hierarchy, choose one and stick with it.</p>
    <p>So that would boil down to (leaving building internal references
      away)<br>

    <p>addr:housename <br>
    </p>
    <p>addr:housenumber</p>
    <p>addr:street / addr:place</p>
    <p>addr:parentsomething (where necessary)<br>
    </p>
    <p>addr:suburb (where necessary)<br>
    </p>
    <p>addr:city</p>
    <p>addr:postcode</p>
    <p>That's 8 tags instead of 13 and introduces just -one- new tag
      instead of 5, something that is much more reasonable to ask
      consumers to do.</p>
