<p class="MsoNormal">Hi all,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Whilst doing some public rights of way mapping, I came across the Rossendale Way:
<a href="https://ldwa.org.uk/ldp/members/show_path.php?path_name=Rossendale+Way">
https://ldwa.org.uk/ldp/members/show_path.php?path_name=Rossendale+Way</a><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I noted that some of the route is marked in OSM using the name tag on footpaths/bridleways (<a href="https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1flV">https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1flV</a>). I’m assuming it should really be mapped as a relation – since
all those individual paths are not likely to be called “Rossendale Way”?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">However, the route isn’t complete, so I can’t just join as a relation. So I’m wondering if anyone knows of a OSM-compatible site from where we can download a GPX and then import into OSM to use as an overlay? I guess this applies to any
“way” really. I’ve found a few sites with the route mapped but I’m not sure if I can download the GPX to then use on OSM (e.g.
<a href="https://www.walkingenglishman.com/ldp/rossendaleway.html">https://www.walkingenglishman.com/ldp/rossendaleway.html</a>).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
