<div dir="ltr"><div>The name suggestion index has a very good explanation on their Github readme that has a video demonstrating how it works with the id editor and lots of other editors are supported including JOSM <a href="https://github.com/osmlab/name-suggestion-index/">https://github.com/osmlab/name-suggestion-index/</a></div><div><br></div><div>I think the tricky part is Cyclehoop the brand or the operator or sometimes both? My suggestion of a brand preset is because it is their branded Bikehanger that is being used, however depending on the borough Cyclehoop may be the operator or the borough like Hackney for example may manage it themself - is that a correct summation? Though the Cyclehoop branding on the hangars is quite minimal if not absent however many are branded with Bikehanger the name of the product.<br></div><div><br></div><div>It is also possible to create an operator preset though that would mean creating separate ones for the boroughs that manage it themselves.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Wed, 13 Jul 2022 at 07:37, Steven Hirschorn <<a href="mailto:steven.hirschorn@gmail.com">steven.hirschorn@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Hi Mat,<div><br></div><div>I asked that original question, and I think there may have been others too. I have created JOSM presets for a few things I tag regularly, to save on typing!</div><div><br></div><div>Here's the set of tags I've ended up using:</div><div><a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9378896720" target="_blank">https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9378896720</a><br></div><div><br></div><div>Your brand and wikidata tags seem like a good idea. I wonder if it will be straightforward to identify the operator, as Cyclehoop's default is that they operate the request process, manage the waiting lists, issue the access keys, pay for the maintenance in return for the rental fee? Some councils like Hackney and Islington, though, self-manage their hangars. tbh I mainly used the operator tag to be able to query for cyclehoop hangars rather than other private bike sheds.</div><div><br></div><div>Incidentally, there's a competitor to Cyclehoop now called Falco and their "Falcopods" are also being rolled out. We should probably use tagging that accounts for multiple operators and suppliers.</div><div><br></div><div>Steven</div><div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Tue, 12 Jul 2022 at 12:56, Mat Attlee <<a href="mailto:mattattlee@gmail.com" target="_blank">mattattlee@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>I noticed a while back there was a thread about Cyclehoop bicycle hangars and how best to tag them <a href="https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-gb/2021-February/026193.html" target="_blank">https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-gb/2021-February/026193.html</a></div><div><br></div><div>Was a consensus reached?
