<div dir="ltr"><div>A discussion on IRC led me to I creat this, fairly simple, <a href="https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1q3Y">Overpass</a><a href="https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1q3Y"> query</a> to find buildings (as a proxy for people/urban areas) further than 5 km from a shop=convenience or shop=supermarket. It's crude because it only finds shops within an area not within an area with a buffer of 5 km. This means places with shops just over the border in another local authority show up.</div><div><br></div><div>However, trying it out on a few places in England and Scotland suggests that it has some value for sense checking the data. Obviously it can be used for other features (schools, places of worship etc), and no doubt adapted for other purposes altogether.</div><div><br></div><div>Jerry<br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
