
<!DOCTYPE html><html><body><div dir="auto">I have commented on a changeset by a, I assume, German mapper who has changed several tourism=caravan_sites to tourism=chalet.<br><br>I have always understood a caravan site to be a site containing static caravans which are used for tourism. <br><br>The wiki says it is for RVs (American for motorhome), which contradicts my understanding and what has always been the usage in OSM, at least in the UK.<br><br>Not really sure if a motorhome only site is even a thing in the UK, if there are the numbers will be quite small that allow motorhomes but not caravans.<br><br>My understanding is that all touring sites are tourism=camp_site with appropriate tent/caravan/motorhome access tags.<br><br>What do others think?<br><br>Phil (trigpoint)</div></body></html>
