be for touring (i.e. towed caravans); it would almost certainly
accept motorhomes, and would be quite likely to accept tents (not
guaranteed - all pitches could be hard standing - I've stayed at
one like that). (Larger) sites may or may not have statics as
well. The wiki fits this : it says "people with <b>caravans</b>

because access down little country lanes would be a problem, as at
the one I'm taking my campervan to soon. I'd tag those as<tt>

motorhome-only site, though I believe there are a very few. <br>

one unit, so changing a whole site to one<tt> tourism=chalet</tt>

a bunch of chalets in one area. The distinction between static
caravans and chalets can be a little blurred - chalets can be
prefabricated and arrive on wheels - but things called chalets
normally hide the frame and wheels with panelling.</div>

I have always understood a caravan site to be a site containing
static caravans which are used for tourism. <br>
<br>
The wiki says it is for RVs (American for motorhome), which
contradicts my understanding and what has always been the usage
in OSM, at least in the UK.<br>
<br>
Not really sure if a motorhome only site is even a thing in the
UK, if there are the numbers will be quite small that allow
motorhomes but not caravans.<br>
<br>
My understanding is that all touring sites are tourism=camp_site
with appropriate tent/caravan/motorhome access tags.<br>
<br>
What do others think?<br>
