Date: Fri, Jul 8, 2011 at 8:56 AM<br>Subject: Bing aerial imagery priorities<br>To: <a href="mailto:scoast@microsoft.com" target="_blank">scoast@microsoft.com</a><br><br><br>Hi Steve!<br><br>I'm Zsolt, an OSM mapper from Hungary. I'd like to tell you that also Hungary needs Bing updates and full coverage. The map density is not too good in Hungary, partly because we have a Hungary specific project focusing on only Hungary (and hiking ways), and the mappers are engaged there. Full Bing coverage could be good to seduce them and give a boost to us. Also we have a lot of armchair mappers who use Bing a lot, but the coverage is not enough for them. Also the hungarian aerial images are out of date (5 years or more). I mapped a shopping mall recently where I had to wipe out a factory (used to be there) mapped by an armchar mapper. We also have an even smaller, but enthusiastic group dedicated to Keepright fixes. We can't cover Hungary with our local knowledge, so aerial images would very helpful.<br>



<br>I think I saw a picture book with hungarian orthophotos years ago, so coverage can not be a problem. The question is, are we interesting enough for Microsoft and Bing to add coverage? A honest answer would be appreciated.<br>
