Ben,<div>-asri also has meaning (it means harmony). And I had checked that there is actually "Kedungasri" village. There are also several "Purwoasri" (at Malang and Kediri, for instance).</div><div><br>

Some places in South East Java end on "-asri", e.g. Kedungasri, Purwoasri. But that's not a typical Javanese ending of a place name, I'd rather expect "-sari", i.e. Kedungsari, Purwosari - a typo in my opinion.<br>

These place names seem to be imported, as the place-tag is hardly ever located in a village.<br>
And strangely, Google Earth uses the same names - same source?<br>
What do you think: should I change the endings, or leave them as they are?<br>
