<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi,</div><div><br></div><div>A group of us are bidding to hold the Foss4G Asia in Jan 2026 in Nashik, and were wondering if we, the OSM community would like to hold one day of SOTM India or even SOTM Asia along with it.</div><div><br></div><div>I have spoken to a few people individually about it, and I have been told that since we don't have an OSM India Legal entity, it would be difficult to hold the SOTM Asia, since they need some legal undertaking for Visa Purposes.</div><div><br></div><div>We could take advantage of the Foss4G body, and the Government sponsors / supporters to get around this obstacle.</div><div><br></div><div>Even if we can't bid for SOTM Asia, maybe we could have a SOTM India conference?</div><div><br></div><div>Do let me know your thoughts on this.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><font color="#999999" size="2">Regards,</font><div><font size="2" color="#444444">Devdatta Tengshe</font></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
