<div style="16px" text-align="left">Dear Marvin Gülker,<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">First of all, have a nice holiday and time in Sanremo! <br> Second, on the paper with the timeline, at each stop and/or on the stop pole, should be written the name of the stop or, at least, a number. If I'm right, should be the last line in the grey top part. The weird thing is that sometimes the bus stops are known with different names by locals.. <br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">In this period I'm not in Liguria, so I won't be able to join a mapping tour, but if you have any other question, feel free to ask! <br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">Cheers,<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">Anna<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">5 lug 2019, 09:36 da post+talkitliguria@guelker.eu:<br></div><blockquote class="tutanota_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid #93A3B8; padding-left: 10px; margin-left: 5px;"><div style="16px" text-align="left">Dear List,<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">first, a quick introduction of myself: I'm a student from Germany, who<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">has done a little mapping there already. I enjoy OpenStreetMap and I'd<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">like to contribute back a little.<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">I am in holidays in Sanremo for about two weeks still and found that the<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">POI data is rather small. Even the central shopping street[1] barely<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">lists a shop. I would like to improve that, but I know that OSM<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">communities in other countries tend to have other conventions, and thus<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">I'd like to ask for some guidance here before I start surveying and<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">mapping.<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">For now, I'd like to know something about bus stops. The ones already<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">tracked in OSM (which in Sanremo aren't many) only have the city name on<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">them. This is unfortunate, because these generic names cannot be used in<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">Liguria's online route planner[2].For instance, [3] only has the name<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">set to "Sanremo". As even the local transport company's website lists<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">the station as "Autostazione"[4] this is something I'd like to fix. I'd<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">set the name of e.g. that bus stop to "Sanremo Autostazione". But as<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">other bus stops (e.g. [5]) are similaryly tagged with only the city name<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">I don't know if this is actually correct and I'm just confused about bus<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">stop naming conventions in Italy/Liguria. So, what's the correct way to<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">name bus stops?<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left"><br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">If someone is interested in a mapping tour with me in Sanremo and/or<br></div><div style="16px" text-align="left">nearby areas, please tell me.
