    La distinzione è nell'ampiezza delle vie pedonali. La questione dei
    negozi è secondaria (vedi l'uso degli avverbi: "often" between
    shops, "typically" lined with shops or commercial buildings).<br>

    In base alle definizioni, ritengo che le calle di Venezia vadano
    classificate come footway. Pedestrian per me è una via come via
    Garibaldi a Torino.<br>
