Hi all,

I still don't know the best way to classify roads. I have been observing
many kinds of road around Geochang, and also in the cities of Daegu and
Daejeon. I want to discuss the matter again later, but right now I have a
question.

What is the Korean name for the type of road with a hexagonal road sign,
and what is the purpose of this type of road? Here is an example in Daegu
(road 11):

<http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=daegu+south+korea&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=24.87208,52.734375&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Daegu,+South+Korea&ll=35.87236,128.591881&spn=0.09904,0.205994&z=12>

Here are some examples in Seoul (road 70 and 88):

<http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=daegu+south+korea&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=24.87208,52.734375&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Daegu,+South+Korea&ll=37.518168,126.971054&spn=0.048471,0.102997&z=13>

Best wishes,

Andrew
