<div dir="auto">I want to rendered station name with tje suffix "역". In Mapnik. I will question that to mapnik developers.<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">If it is hard to render with the suffix "역" by programming skills, i will add "역" to the Korean railway name. Almost of train, railway, and subway relations are finished in South Korea. So it's easy to huge change name of station.</div><div dir="auto"><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">And actually i participated to korean bridge challange.</div><div dir="auto"> 2 months ago. but my priority is railway system in south korea. I tagged all of normal way lines in south korea and devide railway lines operated by seoul metro and korail tjis work ia almost finished. If this subject is done, I wil participate maproutte challange. In my experience, it need 2 or more months to finishing maproute challange.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">So..</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Fisrt, fallowng the servey, people want to regognize railway stathon with the suffix "역" so If mapnix can render railway name with the suffix "역", we have not to add "역" on the railway name. In this case, renderer add the suffix "역", and data of station name isn't change.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Second, If Mapnik can't render station name without "역", we should to add the suffix "역" on the railway name. In this case, name:ko is target to add the suffix"역". And official_mame or nat_name or alt_name can be used railway station name withoit the suffix "역"</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">What is good to change name? Changing name is very delicate problom. Because railway station name is already once changed.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I investigated almost of sign in railway station. This is differ! Entrace and exit sign of subway has no suffix "역"</div><div dir="auto"> However, building sign of station show name with the suffix "역". Type of signs are differ. And in railway station, It is hard to find "station" on the sign in whole of station area.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">So I think name should be official name, and alt name or name:ko has the railway name which has the suffix "역" .</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Anyway my healthy is not good now.
