<p>Je profite de ce mail pour me présenter, je suis Violaine,
j'habite à Tahiti et fais des trucs sur OSM et la carto ici..
Notamment sur la mobilité, et la mobilité PMR.. L'année dernière
je suis allée au FOSS4G SOTM Oceania en Nouvelle Zélande, ou
j'ai rencontré l'équipe OSGeo régionale, bien active pour
développer OSM dans la région... La communauté est
essentiellement néo zélandaise et australienne, mais on avait
quelques iliens et français quand même! Cette conférence a un
programme 'travel grant program', pour aider les contributeurs
OSM à participer à cette conférence. Je ne sais pas si vous
suivez déjà la liste de discussion OSGeo ou le slack, je vous
les met en lien au cas ou.. N'hésitez pas à suivre si ça peut
vous intéresser... </p>
<p>En attendant, ce mail est pour vous partager un message de la
liste OSGeo Océania, de Edoardo Neerhut, que vous connaissez
peut-être (Mapillary). <br>

<p>Depuis le FOSS4G l'année dernière, est remontée l'envie de
créer un chapitre régional de la OSM Foundation via OSGeo
Océania. Vous verrez les détails dans le mail ci-dessous mais
l'idée principale est qu'il faudrait un groupe de travail OSM
dans OSGeo Oceania pour avancer la dessus. Une réunion aura lieu
ce jeudi <font face="arial, sans-serif">en ligne pour
rassembler les gens qui seraient intéressés de prendre part
dans ce groupe. Si vous voulez participer, il suffit de

While they received positive responses, the response was limited. I think we can do better.</span></p>

One solution to address this concern is to establish an OSM focused working group made up of representatives from across the region. While I hinted at this in May, I am now formally proposing that we establish a working group. </span></p>

At the same time, the working group would be able to benefit from the resources, structure, and conference platform that OSGeo Oceania has already established.</span></p>
