Hi Amrit,<div><br></div><div>The guys from geofabrik said they used osm2shp <a href="http://code.google.com/p/osm2shp/">http://code.google.com/p/osm2shp/</a> to extract shape files from openstreetmap data.</div><div>Since they have pretty good shape file extracts, I hope the tool could be of good help.</div>
