<div class="gmail_quote">Hello all,<br><br>Can we agree on the conventions for the values of the admin_level tag for boundary:administrative?<br><br>Here's one suggestion:<br><br>2 - national boundary (mostly applicable to the sea border with Malaysia<br>
4 - provinces<br>6 - cities and municipalities<br>8 - districts (like in Manila, Iloilo City)<br>9 - zone (like in Manila, Pasay, Caloocan)<br>10 - barangay<br>12 - sitio/purok<br><br>I don't think we really need to tag the regions since the provinces are the primary subdivisions of the Philippines and regions are mostly for grouping purposes.<br>
<br>And I don't think we need to tag the congressional districts yet. Besides, I think those boundaries fall under a different value for the boundary tag. Like boundary:legislative?<br><br>Also, let's not mark boundaries on open sea just yet (except for the international boundary).<br>

As we all know, most political boundaries in the Philippines is pretty<br>
much contested by neighboring provinces, so I will have to say that my<br>
upcoming upload is still very much a work in progress (as most of the<br>
Phils. political boundaries are :))) )<br>
