Imagry in black hole areas (Recently, I [finally!] "linked" Camp Sampaguita to the New Bilibid Prison area)
- And regarding the edit done in the southwestern Bulacan area, I did the entire area for at least a week.

(see the original email below)

From: maning sambale <emmanuel.sambale@gmail.com>
Subject: [talk-ph] Nice updates for Metro Manila
To: "talk-ph" <talk-ph@openstreetmap.org>
Date: Thursday, November 6, 2008, 1:49
PM

Hi,

I have to say the recent Mapnik update for Metro manila is looking
quite extensive!

- Paranaque and Las Pinas are getting more coverage (though a lot has no names)
- More buildings added.
- North Caloocan gets some love (partly by me)
- We now have municipal/provincial boundaries (which of course can be
improved further)
- Taytay from rally's data import
- More landuse added
- And oh! I really liked this one:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=14.7321&lon=120.8927&zoom=14&layers=B000FTF

At this rate, I can boldly say we can get the Metro Manila completed
by the end of 2009! (At least for roads).
The black-holes that needs volunteers are Muntinlupa, Taguig, Pateros,
Caloocan, Valenzuela, Navotas and Malabon.

But something really bugs me, why is Jolly Recreation Center so
prominent in
Osmarender?
http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=14.516&lon=121.092&zoom=11&layers=0B00FTF

Keep on mapping guys!

cheers,

maning

--
|---------|----------------------------------------------------------|
| __.-._ |"Ohhh. And
Osmarender is going "haywire", with places like northern Muntinlupa, eastern Parañaque, Taguig, eastern Makati, a small part of NAIA (runway part), 70-80% of Mandaluyong, Pasig City (excluding the northern portion), a "small" portion of Southern Quezon City, and a huge chunk of San Juan "underwater".

I only hope that we solve it in due time.
