We just had a talk with the Davao City Tourism Office head and the result is positive. He want to integrate OSM to all City tourism websites and the office is willing to fund the OSM workshop and mapping party. That is the result of our initial talk, all we need to do is to write a formal letter.<br>
<br>
I also requested to Davao City Mayor Duterte through the City Engineer (thanks to maning for the letter template) for the GIS data of Davao City and I was forwarded to the City Planning Office. And the whole map of Davao City is already posted in my office, it is about 3m x 1.5m big. Thanks to my friends from the City Planning office and Office of the Building Officials. From this point the map is "for you eyes only" until we get the formal authorization that we can use the data for OSM.<br>
