I saw them when riding around there. I think it is a very important item to map long and short term .. I ma not sure if they are intended for a volcano eruption, as the signs said Tsunami Evacuation Center and almost always pointed up a set of stairs .. Camiguin has two active volcano's and a Philvolcs monitoring station on it. Worth a visit if you are ever there .. nice people ... and a

I guess GuaGua will not have any Tsunami Evacuation Centers, but will have earthquake, volcano, lahar flows, etc. </div>

Hard to maintain unless the relief agencies do it them selves ..</div>

Just a brief update on the status of mapping with LGUs in Pampanga.<br clear="none">
If you have been monitoring the edits recently, you will notice that<br clear="none">
the Municipality of Guagua is getting a lot of edits recently<br clear="none">
specifically on adding building.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
The DRRM Office have several volunteer students doing both armchair<br clear="none">
and field mapping.<br clear="none">
Being newbies, you will notice that the edits needs further improvement.<br clear="none">
I visited them last week to orient the students on the proper mapping<br clear="none">
conventions.<br clear="none">
We are also using the tasking manager to divide the tasks efficiently<br clear="none">
and avoid overlaps.<br clear="none">

Another discussion we had last week was how to tag public facilities<br clear="none">

schools, barangay halls, etc., for the meantime we added the tag:<br clear="none">
