Try the OSM inspector's multipolygon view, at <a href="http://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/debug.html" target="_blank">http://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/debug.html</a> (then select multipolygons from the view drop-down - note that only the views with an earth icon are world-wide but multipolygon is one of them).<br>

As you can see, the offending relation is clearly marked in the middle with "ring not closed" and the non-connected endpoints are painted red.<br>
